Half way through the week!!  This week being the students spring break and working at a university, let me just say I'm a little bored! Trying to do productive things while it has been rainy all week so far is VERY hard!

High Five for Friday!

It's Friday!!!  Here's what's happened this week:

5. We went bowling on a double date on Monday and it was so much fun!  We haven't bowled in a long time and I did horrible but it was a blast.

4. It's been beautiful outside!!

3. Two of our student workers turned 21 this week!  Oh such an exciting time.

2. I'm teaching Cooper to walk with me without a leash and it's going pretty well. 

1.  My Birchbox arrived this week!  I'll post soon on that, it's pure wonderfulness.

Quite a Find

I was at Bath and Body the other day and I found the cutest soap covers!  Now, I don't know about you but the Bath and Body hand soaps are the only hand soaps I use because they're good for your hands and they have wonderful scents!!

High Five for Friday!

It's Friday!!  Since I missed last week I'm going to combine them! Linking in with From My Grey Desk Blog.

Last Week:

5. After a Oklahoma State Women's Basketball win, one of our friends on the media team invited Ed to play basket ball with them on Gallagher-Iba Arena! They had so much fun!!

4. My mom came to stay with me Friday night and we had so much fun.

3. We saw Gabriel Iglasias on Sunday night at the Civic Center in OKC.  If you have a chance to see him live, DO IT!  It was the best comedy show we have been to yet!! It was SO GOOD!!!

2. Ed got a new truck!! Yay! He deserves this so much, I am so happy for him!

1. Grad fair at Oklahoma State was Tuesday and we got Ed's invitations, cap and gown!  It's official that he's graduating with his Bachelors!!!!  It's been a long journey but he made it through and I am sooo proud of him!

This Week:

5. Mom came to stay with me Friday night (I think I can say this for both weeks, lol) and she spoils the dogs, says it's her job, I can't imagine what's going to happen when I have kids!!

P.S. Puppy dogs are not allowed on the couches! So spoiled by grandma!!

4. I think I found an old door to do a headboard with!  I keep thinking about it and I might go get it this weekend!

3. We sold "The Jewel" (Ed's old truck) YAY!! No longer our headache

2. I've been thinking up some crafts and recipes to try and share!

1. We celebrated 4 years together!  We've been through a lot and yet we are still together, it hasn't been easy, no one ever said that it would be. But it's worth it.

He wouldn't got off the couch for a picture, lol! Good thing he's cute!

The Weekend Project

I have recently moved and been doing projects here and there to make this place as much of a home as I can because I plan on being here for a while.  So, with that being said, it was BEAUTIFUL outside this weekend so I decided to do some outside work. 

Part one of the backyard was to tackle what looked like an area for flowers?!

So I got out the Wal-Mart sacks, because I have a plethora of them!  And I got to pulling!

 

And more pulling!

Oh look flowers can go there!  And it looks like there might be some good ones there already

And after I raked it out:

Cooper helped lol, not really!

And the total bag count is....................

9!!



Crazy right?! But it looks so much better and I told myself if I accomplished that then I would try one of those flower seed roll things that I have wanted to do for the past three years!  I found them extremely cheap here.  So I'm gonna do it this year!  We'll see how they work!

High Five For Friday!

I linked up with From My Grey Desk Blog to do High Five For Friday, where you list 5 good things from the week.  So here's my top 5 for the week:

1. We got snow on Monday!!  It was only maybe 3-4 inches and was pretty much gone by 5 pm, but it still made me very happy and I got to wear my new snow boots!!

2. My hunny surprised me with a new fish tank table, I had previously been using the dining roon table, lol!

3. These WONDERFUL flowers were on the dining room table when I got home from work, too!!

He has it so easy because one of my good friends is a floral desinger at a shop here in town and she does such wonderful work!!

4. We got a microwave! Lol, sounds so weird these days but the previous places we've rented there's been a microwave!!

5. I had the hottest Valentine's Day date! He's so good to me, we went to the place we have gone to for at least the past 2-3 years for val.
